A night of love, skillups, and XP~! (FFXI mostly)

It's 10 PM: Do you know where your dinner is? *tummy rumbles* Just totally didn't get to have dinner tonight. So hungry, but so tired as well! Zzzz.

I'm sort of feeling silly that I'm still paying for WoW. I've not logged on in maybe two weeks now? But I don't want to delete my character, either. :/ Just wish I had more time so I could play both.

FFXI: A night of much progress, even if most of the company made me highly grumpy many times. It's sad what a difference in... following-the-tail-ness there is between FI and CTY, or perhaps I was highly grumpy and thus more anal about people listening to rules and doing the right thing than I usually am. Or both. Either way, the lack of "focus" on the task at hand had me really close to snapping at people many times, and for some reason I was more worried about/protective of Zub (our much-abused tank) than I usually am. (I've also found myself very, very, very, very often second-guessing mages of late, which is a habit I'm trying to break. I have no idea why I'm doing it now as opposed to earlier in my random partying time, but it will not lead to good things if I let it continue.)

I made about 3,500 XP through skilling up (!!!), bringing me to right about 499 xp to 69! Right where I need to be for Maat! (First I was worried I wouldn't be able to get close enough, now I worry I'll get too much in test hunting, Escort, and NM killing on Sunday. :P )

Happily (oh joy, oh joy, oh joy) I got to 216 great sword! That's 20 levels tonight! Just 9 more levels to go! Let me repeat that: Just 9 more levels! I've gained nearly 100 levels over the last three weeks -- 100 levels of a damned slow two-handed weapon. Days and days and days of skilling on this damned weapon. So sick and tired of it! I'll be so happy when I'm done with it and can sell off my skillup weapon! (It's very low level but the fastest GS there is. "Fast GS" ha ha ha.)

If I fail this fight, maybe I will. I was planning that at one point, then I met a sucky DRK who beat him at 66 in just horrible armor. If he could do it then, maybe I can do it at 69! I really, really want to get this done and out of the way.

Oh, huh. I only paid for one months. Maybe I'll just let that expire and if/when I want to go back I'll pay for another one...

If you do go too far with XP, Thistle. You can "suicide" a couple times and take R3s. IIRC the loss on those is about 300xp. Else sit outside the party while people Testimony hunt and then have them invite you when it's in the Treasure Pool ;3

Yeah. :) I was trying to do the math of R2s and R3s, but math makes my head hurt so I stopped. :P

And hey, if you sent the tacos and I forgot to pick them up, sorry! For some odd reason I don't check my mail anymore when I first log on... I have no idea why I got out of that habit, but nowadays things just sit in there till people poke me. I'll try to remember to empty it tonight!
