Yesterday started out sucky, but ended lots of fun!

After five and a half hours of seeking, I gave up any hopes of getting anything done on DRK this weekend. There were three other DRK 71s seeking today, and four other DRK 71s seeking on Saturday (when I spent 9 hours attempting to get a party). Grrrr/sigh.

Once I gave up I went to work on RDM. (It's funny, as I waste hours seeking on DRK I keep thinking 'Soon I'll be a RDM, then you'll all want me! Then I will be able to pick and choose and say no, then you'll all be sorry!'. Heh.) Didn't quite level, but not too far from it. Maybe tonight I will.

merrkitty and I then went to finish clearing our scythes of trial, and we did! Scythe is long since capped, but thanks to all this duoing skilling my evasion is nearly capped, too! That's cool as heck.

So what does one do after clearing a weapon? Why, go kill the WS mob! Happily nice

niffy came out to help us, so us five (Merr, me, them, and Mako -- we really need to get Mako to take a FI pearl!) went to horrible, horrible Den of Rancor to kill the mob.

Allow me to pause the tale a moment to say: There is no good reason for Temple of Ugh-I-Can't-Spell-It and Den of Rancor to exist. I say we collect up 99 BLMs and nuke those two places right off the map! They're horrible places and I hate tonberries and those eye mobs! If you have AF there? Believe me, you'll thank me for saving you from having to coffer hunt there! And if you don't have your o-hat yet? Well, they are kind of ugly, aren't they? Thank me (and the 99 BLMs) for saving you from having to wear it!

Okay, back to the story! So after spending seven days and seven nights wandering Den of Rancor we found the ??? to spawn the mob! It wasn't a bad fight for us five, but I bet it would have been highly painful if we had tried it with just Merr, Mako, and I. We beat it first try and so yay!

Then someone (Meko? Merr?) got word that some NM was up, so we went to where it pops. I have no idea what the NM was (a tonberry I assume, since we were killing those) or what it dropped (other than Nif could use it, and Nif is highly deserving of stuff he can use!), but I like killing things, so rarrr! We killed and we killed and we killed (and Merrkitty attempted to MPK us many times. c.c ), but the NM never showed up. Alas!

Highlight of the night: Two gilsellers (Coldlionfish and... Classics was the second one, I think?) were trying to MPK each other! They were training half the tonberries and bats in the place around, must have had 20 or 30 mobs behind them! Heehee. I wish them both luck and hope they both succeeded! :P (Edit: Ha ha ha, I suck at math. 20-30 mobs =/= "half the mobs in the place". Snerk!)

Between clearing the scythe and this NM stuff, I made nearly 5K XP on DRK! YAY YAY YAY. I feel like I'm living in those stories you hear about PLDs: The only way I get XP is through ways other than XPing. Skilling, helping with keys, etc. Sad, but at least it works.

Last night I got to meet Raka, the ~~hottest~~ sluttiest fellowship NPC ever! Between those boots, her panties, and that hat she looks like she should be dancing on a table somewhere. Ignore that her hand is between my thighs.

The Spiral Hell mob! That's the only screenshot I took. Since I was on stun duty, I couldn't pay attention to trying to get good shots. One day I'm going to take up tanking so I can get screenshots of the front of mobs!

SPOILER IN SCREENSHOT: Gah! Outside of CoP quests, the story in the Spiral Hell quest is my favorite one ever. Text from the final cutscene. SPOILER for the quest! It's all about that elf who stays down in that prison under the Sandy castle, the one you deal with for... I think it's the Drain quest? So so so so so cool! Gah!

And lastly, I couldn't fall asleep last night because I was giggling so much. Backstory of this screenshot:
1) For some reason, even though I was the lowest level in the group, bats kept aggroing Mako. Not just once, not just twice, but every single time. Merr even released her pets facing me, and they turned around to attack him. Merr (in one of her many MPK attempts on us) trained a bunch of bats onto us, and when Mako asked where they came from, I said Merr. He replied 'Merlee?' and I said 'Yes, from her panties' (somehow conversation had been on panties, probably Beanie's fault). That lead to panty-bat comments, which evolved into Merrkitty having a bat cave (*snicker*).
2) We were talking about what dropped from the NM, and someone commented that it would help Nif's dickwaggling.
Now, with all that setup, you get to this bit of conversation.

So so so so tired this morning. Zzzzzz. Stayed up way too late last night, but it was so much fun! Heehee.
