Late, late (FFXI)

Very late = short short post.

Spent two hours waiting for a G2 run to gather and go (I was online early, but not early enough to XP or much of anything before it), spent much of the run grumbling about idiots from other LSs who were utterly unable to follow the tail. Idiots, idiots, idiots. Idiots with attitudes, no less. (But as Yossy said, no use damning the whole LS over the acts of a few idiots... but on the other hand, a LS who would house people like that? But hey, it's not my LS anymore, so it's not my problem. If other people are willing to deal with folks like that, let them.)

After that we went to farm wandering bulbs for the crown. Got three, which is how many we needed! Woo! And it only took an hour, so we went to get salts... but only got one of the three we needed. :/ Oh well.

Got 10 levels on sword and more than 15 levels on dagger! *happy*happy* Still seriously underleveled, but that's a good start.

Well, I'm glad you came regardless. I probably should have tried to lay down the law a little bit more strongly at the beginning, but I'm not used to dealing with that many people at once, and I was assuming that people would stick together. I probably should not assume that for future events. ^^;

Yeah, it's hard organizing stuff like that... and you shouldn't have to lay down the law! Not running into aggro range before people are ready should be known...

Would you believe we had 18 people? The three mobs just fell over dead at the sight of all of us. ;)

Was Totaru one of the people who needed it done? They were fine, it was some of the more experienced people who were useless. (Who needs to rest before the fights! I'll run up into aggro range before the mages have MP or everyone is even there! Go Team Clueless!)

Yeah, Totaru is in Cydori's static and a member of my LS.

Yeah, they were all fine. It was a high level SMN and RDM who decided to run up and poke the mobs before people were ready. 9.9 Then when people told the SMN not to do that, she copped a serious attitude.

Yeah, Totaru was the taru BLM who needed it along with me and Tovari, who's the Wolfgang-lookalike. ^_~

I got disoriented on the first fight and thought the ??? was going to spawn closer than it actually did, thus why we had to do it twice; by the time I *did* find the ???, the mob was respawning. Sorry about that. ^^; Luckily on the later ones we got the hang of it and only had to do it once. The three of us who needed it disengaged when the mob was low on HP and ran to the back of the cave to wait for the ??? spawn.

No worries at all! When I had to do it, I had a hard time getting close enough to the ???. (And we had only like one party -- with me as one member! -- so fighting again would have been a pain.) I'm surprised that part went as smoothly as it did.
