Wow, I love tonight's ep of SGA (Michael), but it's especially freaky since I read a fic just this afternoon which had similar themes. (Rodney turned into a Wraith. I can't recall the title, but it was recommended by [livejournal.com profile] isiscolo. Something like Not a Threat (But Not Quite Human).) Nice questionable morals, and I couldn't help but thinking of the wraith dialogue in the fic as I watched the ep.

FFXI: Blah. Even though I accomplished a little, it feels like a total loss of a night.

1) Ran off to Jugner and spent way too long looking for a logging point so I could finish the NPC quest.
2) The one good part of the night: Outposted to the Glacier, and somehow amazingly made my way to the lake without getting lost once! I still get lost in Sandy, Bastok, and Windy, so it's nearly impossible that I didn't get turned around even once in the Glacier.
3) Went to get Des a NIN test. Totally failed. Temple Ugg wasn't a good place for it, or maybe it wasn't a good time. Too many other people killing stuff, too few NIN mobs. We'll try Castle Oz next time...
4) Went to take part in a Ballista! Woo! Yay PvP! ...but not enough people showed up, so it was canceled. Sigh.
5) Did the Wildcat quests in Bastok and Jeuno, leaving only Windy left to do. Yay, I guess.

So I got some stuff done, but... Bah. Tomorrow I'm going to seek on BLM to try to finish it as a subjob, which should be oodles of fun (not).

Edit: Oops, I forgot Sandy 8.1 mission is tomorrow at noon. I guess I can XP before and after it.

Sorry about the test. I think there's a NM that pops from the tonberries near the testimony/coffer mobs. That might be why it was crowded.

No worries, was just a little frustrating. :} And yeah, some THF knife mob...

Eh, it was worth a shot. Thanks for coming out. :)

Of course the other campers left when you and Ead did, so when I claimed a Stabber for my own, the rest of the family spawned midfight in the same room and linked. Guess my grudge-level has skyrocketed from that. ^^;

I was sad that Connor Trinneer was only a guest star. Also sad that he managed to have more chemistry with Teyla than anyone else to date. :)

Totally agreed. I suspect we'll see him again, in one form or another...

Ugg is great for NIN testimony, but you have to hit the right spot :x We can do both Yosa and Des at the same time.

Drat. We sat in the same camp we did for RDM tests (and we were wishing Yossy was there, since we had to kill pots because they were in the way). Yay! Doing both at once would be good! :)

[livejournal.com profile] miggy is the person I was telling you about last night. Go check out her journal for lots and lots of pretty AI/Amazing Race/Lost/other shows/fandoms icons. ^^ She just put up a new batch for the current group of AI finalists.
