Frustrating night (FFXI & Lost)

Lost: I really cannot handle watching Clare (or is it Clair?) tonight. Did I ever like her? She's annoying the hell out of me now. Whining, screaming, angsting. Stupid. Bah. (Edit: Wow, the end was worth sitting through all of her.)

FFXI: From start to finish, a frustrating night.

- Since Gunnar is one step from the final body armor, the first thing I did was dash off to XP him. His gloves upgraded instead of body. Grrr. (But at least the body didn't reset to one, which is something.)
- Went to level NIN. Went from 14 -> 15, but was like a totally different night than last night. Though the mobs were easier, I couldn't keep my damned shadows up. I nearly died a couple times. XP was still fast (~3K/hr with band), but I totally wasn't in the mood for it. Curious about playing the job in a party, I ran to the Dunes... then realized my subjob was still WHM so I couldn't very well seek like that. Gave up for the night. Bah.
- I have too many beastman seals, so went to Jeuno to trade some in for an orb to do Treasures & Tribulations BC. Got the wrong orb. Grrrrrr! I was trying to use seals to free up space, and now I have to store an orb I can't use. Warped back to Sandy to get more seals, and just missed the airship going back to Jeuno. Yay 11 minute wait for the next ship.
- Finally got the right orb, went to the BC, and... lost. It's only a one in three chance of winning, but still, I had hoped I might win. :( How embarrassing is this?

Coudn't they at least write "Thistle was defeated by the nasty looking mimic with a mouthful of fangs."?

I love my death poses with the boxes. Really looks like it's in the process of eating me.

Gunnar the beggar. Ha ha, in full mage armor with a great katana. It boggles me how horrible that armor looks. (Though I'm sure it looks totally hot on draymor. ;) )

And lastly, I put my RDM pants onto my Mithra mannequin by mistake, and my jaw dropped: Why doesn't the AF look like this on me? I'd love to run around wearing that. Hee.

So anyway, sucky night. Rest of the week is going to suck badly at work. No clue what I'm going to do on-game tomorrow, but I seriously hope it's something that doesn't suck.

Been too long since I bought them to remember. Beanie's currently in the process of getting one, so I bet she remembers all the prices!

And yes, it's worth getting RDM AF just to put it on a Mithra mannequin. :D

I think you answered your own question. Maybe if Thistle had female parts, it would look that good on you too. Then again, if hume RDM af pants looked like that... I would quit. Have you ever seen Reno 911? *puke*
