Yo, Eadwyn and Desant! Read this post!

A comment from genomeffxi got me thinking and doing more research. When we first started the tactics pearl quest, my understanding of the XP was:

[40 x (number of mobs killed, max 30)] + 300 for touching first floor + 500 for second + 750 for third.

However, that's incorrect. It's:

[40 x (number of mobs killed, max 30)] + (floor touched, either 300 OR 500 OR 750, not "and"!)

So if we get up to the third floor, we only make 250 more XP than if we stay on the second. If we get to the third, we only make 450 XP more than if we stay on the first floor.

Is 250 or 450 XP worth the extra time and danger? If we stay on the first floor and kill say 20 strays (for fast killing) and 10 mobs to clear around the ???, we'd have more time for farming/XPing. If we took 15 minutes to do this instead of 40, that'd be nearly a whole pearl charge out in XPing land.

Since I'm posting, I might as well mention how bouncy and hyper I am. I can't believe how much I want to do on the game! How many jobs I want to level! DRK needs to be finished, then I could get merits! But I haven't touched RDM in ages and have a 4 million gil torque waiting for me to use! But I love love love NIN and want to make progress on that! Plus new ideas: Wouldn't WAR/NIN be kind of cool to try out? And PLD is still poking at my brain!

Gah, so much to do, but I'm stuck sitting at work. I can't believe that after two years on the game there's actually MORE I want to do now than when I started. (Ha ha ha, how did I ever think I'd only want to level one job ever?)

And plus, once the expansion pack comes out (just a couple more weeks! Must Reserve It Soon!) there will be tons more to do! Plus I'm getting an itch to give Dynamis another try. (Gah, no! *clutches DRK XP* Don't leave me!)

Not possible. I want to level all jobs!!!! well most of them >,> and even get AF armors for several more jobs X3
