thistlechaserRunning late, as is becoming too usual. Back to work on Tuesday, which means I really need to be getting offline on time and to bed at a "normal" (for working life) hour.
Sunday is NPC day -- fun in the dungeon day. Draque and Aurian (and their NPCs) joined us, and we killed bats, leeches, undead doggies, and ghosts for many hours. D&A's NPCs leveled multiple times (they were very low level) and the rest of ours dinged once. Gunnar hit 62! Yay!
The nice thing about XPing NPCs is that I get XP, too. Okay, only 3-17 XP per kill, but hey. It all adds up!
Woo woo! DRK 75! Finally! It really was more of a "Finally!" moment than a "YAY WOO Alright!" moment. I don't recommend leveling on nothing but XP scrolls. Makes for really slow leveling. :P I figured I should run off and do the solo ENM BC for the 2K XP prize so I'd have a buffer, but I really didn't feel like it, so I didn't. I may (may may) seek an XP party so I can get a buffer faster and do stuff. Just hope I don't have to seek for 2-3 days to get one. RDM and NIN have spoiled me, and I'm no longer willing to seek days to a week for a DRK party.

I had too many BSs (I won't store more than two stacks) so the last thing I did tonight was that solo BC: Treasures and Tribulations. Once again, I ended up killed by a box, but at least I punched it first! Arrrgg! It's eating my leg! *sigh* I've done it seven or eight times now, and won only twice (the first two times!). It's getting annoying to spend 50 BS to do nothing but die and lose XP.
I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do in all the downtime tomorrow. I need to shop a little, and maybe catch up on Bleach eps. Is Naruto finally out of filler eps? Is it time to start downloading it again? I've not played the new Animal Crossing game in more than a month, maybe I'll catch my town up... Stupid FFXI being down on my last day of vacation.
Edit: Desant, Aurian, Draque, Eadwyn, Whomeh: On Tuesday, want to do Esort at 5 PM PST? Woman, want to join us in the open slot? I think you said you were free on Tuesday, so maybe that's not too early?

xp scrolls

The one in crawler's nest i used to just kill everything, but now I am subbing BST for fun, and lets you get the NPC to walk around ahead while your pet agroes everything in a room.
I wouldn't use scrolls on main but they were useful to help me cap subs.

Yeah, I did that for THF and WHM -- very handy for subjobs you'd rather not XP ever!

Oh man, that would be so nice. I've totally forgotten where they are in the story now (watching it dubbed on CN has messed up my memory) but still: Yay new non-filler eps!

It's been almost 4 years, give it a rest..." The should really take a page from the manga (no pun intended) and "skip" a few years once in a while...

(Need a coffer key from one of five places, or any test, or some chips...) So we might get Escort done first so we can get coffer keys/tests for people to get access.
