I feel like I have a bird stuck in my head: it's fluttering and chirping and beating against the inside of my skill in its efforts to get out.

I have a NPC who is part of a massive storyarc on the MUSH. I want to RP him. Problem is, he's on an island with other NPCs, and has no IC reason to go to the island where the PCs are (this weekend the PCs will go to the NPC island for an ONS). I want to play him *now*. I've wanted to play him all week. IC dictates that I cannot, but it's driving me batty. He will not shut up. He's poking and prodding at my brain to be let out.

It's sort of like if a person just suddenly learned to communicate at some late age in their life: They'd have a ton of things to say, they'd want to tell anyone who would listen about their life. They'd want to talk to prove they are really someone and alive and real and all that. That's what I got in my head, and he won't shut up. He won't let me sleep. I talk to people in RL, but he whispers in my ear at the same time.

I'd feel like I was going insane if I hadn't experienced this a couple times before...

Teenagers! Gotta love 'em, eh? ;)

But eh, be happy. At least you don't sit there and actually hold conversations with your characters. I do. I seriously, seriously need to get a life...

You're not alone. :) Either of you.
Not so much my more normal characters, they're rather polite and leave me be.
Valentino, on the other hand...
