Disturbing things (RL)

thistlechaserThis ad is a darned good way to start off a post about disturbing things. Sheesh, gah. That haunts me. (Work safe.)
The other disturbing thing is my brain. I've been having the worst dreams lately!
Three nights ago: Had a dream my mother and I were having sex. GAH GAH GAH! Wrong! Bad! Oh my god! A total brain-needs-scrubbing moment, worse because flashes of it kept coming back to me the next day.
Two nights ago: My mother, sister, and I were shopping at Ikea. FFXI goblins aggroed and I couldn't save my family from them. Oddly it wasn't even my family dying that was the really disturbing part, it was that aggroing goblins were lurking in the real world, waiting to pounce on us and kill us. (Plus goblins + funky Ikea furniture was very, very, very brain-breaking.)
Last night: I dreamed I had a very rare steak, a bowl of hot oil, and a bowl of some dipping sauce. I cut a chunk off the steak, dipped it in the oil to let it finish cooking, then into the sauce, then ate it. The whole dream was me eating this big, bloody stake. I woke up and nearly threw up. My first thought was 'Oh my god, what did I do?!', but even remembering it was a dream didn't help much.
Dear Brain,
We should work together! As a team! Not against each other!

Date: 2006-05-18 08:10 am (UTC)I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I mean yeah everything means something but in dreams its really symbolic. I’ve had some pretty interesting dreams about final fantasy also. Right after I first started playing I had one where I was in New York (which is where my ls leader at the time lives irl) and I was walking through this park looking around but I didn’t know anyone there, all of the people had little link pearls over their heads and names. Then I caught aggro from a ram and ran around in circles trying to make it dizzy so I could lose it. o.o;;
The sex thing, that’s actually pretty normal. I know it seems strange but I’ve hardly met a person that has not had some sort of similar dream about something like that.
