Going to be a hard week...

*kicks his neighbors* Who the hell uses a loud garbage disposal at 2 AM? Why are they cooking, running from one end of their apartment to the other, banging, and such at 2 AM? So tired, so tired. Got about 2-3 hours of sleep last night. Think I may die of tiredness today. zzzzzzz

Weekend was nice and mostly non-FFXI-y. Well, I was logged on all weekend, but mostly I just ignored the game. Had fun RPing with loneguardian. Been too long since I last spent 10 or 12 hours in one long RP! (Sorry, Leu. Just over AIM. No good new MUSHes found.)

On Saturday I soloed BRD from 9 to 10, then partied with Nai's NIN from 10 to 12. I can't put into words how useless I felt. Between singing songs I tried to melee... but on the rare occasion I hit, I was hitting for 0. So I stopped meleeing and used my oh my god! 25 MP! to try to help with the curing. Ha ha. Three cure 1s and I was out of MP. 9.9 So I just ran back and forth and did my songs between resting. (No MP songs yet, but I was hitting the mages with the HP regen one since they didn't need the att/acc+ ones.) But really, just felt so totally and 100% useless. Worthless as melee, gimped as hell healer. Are the songs really worth having an otherwise-worthless sixth member? I'm going to stick with the job a while longer though, even though I don't want to. I should know what all the songs do! I have a level 75 character, I shouldn't have to say "Uh, which song do I want? How about that acc+ one!". I'm going to stick with the job until I know all the songs, even if it kills me.

Caught a Besieged on both Saturday and Sunday. Both were fun, even if an odd lag thing on Saturday took me out of half of the event: I needed to synth a juice to use, and for the rest of the event I couldn't move (walk), cast spells, attack, anything. It just kept telling me "you can't do that while synthing" even though I had made the juice 10 minutes earlier and it showed as made in my bag...

EDIT: By the way, my flist earns a cookie. 200 posts, and my friends pages were never broken once! Yay for resized/cut images! Thank you all! So much hate for sidescrolling.

Wouldn't an FFXI MUSH rock? Or... any MUSH. :/ Did you know there's a new Pokemon series started? I caught the first(?) ep this weeekend. It made me laugh. A lot.

I would love an FFXI MUSH, or RP IRC channel, or something. It'd be fun just to hang out with y'all and RP stuff without having to be on the game. Means I could multitask, and possibly also bring in a friend or two who likes RP but has no interest in actually signing up for FFXI (if folks wouldn't mind).

Augh, yes, especially after I got ahold of FFXI's history stuff. There's so much you could do with that...

And yeah, I was half debating whether or not I actually wanted to watch it. Part of me does, the other part is afraid I'll be depressed just cuz I miss everything so much. Yes. I'm pathetic. So sue me.

I think it's worth watching, kind of. It's bad, but in a fond/laughable way. TR (at least what we've seen of them thus far) sucks though, which annoys me. :P

I could almost say "never" to that. Maybe a small handful of times in my entire time playing? (Thus my needing to play the darned job to learn the songs...) I know the MP regen ones are nice, but are the others really much of a help?
