Yay mostly LS XP party! So different than partying with random idiots! 4 LS people (me BRD, Nai NIN, Draque NIN, Dani WHM), 1 clueful random (SMN), 1 horrible random (DRK). Went from hardly into 20 to almost 24! Woo! We were killing so fast we kept the coast clean, from one end to the other. Luckily (surprisingly) we were the only party there, so we had plenty of mobs.

One of the most fun things about BRD: Running off to sleep the next kill before the party finished the one they were on! Heehee.

At first our DRK seemed like a nice guy (and I suppose he was, for a young kid), but was a horrible player. Lizard armor at 21 (with no upgrades on him as he leveled to 22 and 23). No foot or hand armor at all. Too much amusement over putting his crotch into faces (my face >< ) when people were resting. Luckily he was so bad we all couldn't stop laughing at him. He said things like "What would you all do without my damage?" (he was WSing for 0). "What would you do without me?", "I'm the best", etc. All seriously said. (The SMN was really funny. When the DRK asked 'What would you do without me?', without mising a beat the SMN replied 'Get a BLM to do damage and MB'. Heehee.)

There were a couple times I almost booted him from the party, but I have a soft spot for DRKs and never did. He kept asking if the female characters in the party were... how did he put it. Authentic female? Genuine female? One one hand it was funny, but on the other we don't need some random kid hitting on our female members. Especially after I told him to stop.

This was the last straw: He ran up and randomly hit a mob. He got one single warning before I would boot him: Me, "I'm serious. No 'lol'." Him, "lol" Me,"...don't lol." Him, "lol". I wish I could stab people for that sort of crap.

Luckily he was amazingly great entertainment, and we laughed on LS all night long. Poor Dani hurt herself laughing so much. :D

Oh, and a Besieged happened while we partied, and the Candysense was lost again. Bah.

I didn't actually check him. Not having boots and gloves was enough to make me roll my eyes after all the idiotic comments he was making. It was only after he'd had us cracking up so bad that I noticed he was missing gear.

I did /tell suggesting he earn some gil to buy some gear, and of course got nasty replies. 9.9; I was even nice.

Wonder what he would have done if he knew he and the smn were the only true males in the party... ;) Let's just make sure not to invite him again.

When I was first starting out as a young WAR, I kept my lizard armor through 24, when I upgraded to a chainmail set because I knew I couldn't afford both beetle and chainmail. I did, however, at least have a *complete* set of lizard armor and some nice accessories.

If you are needing an extra person when you hit 25, my MNK is 25. (So's my RDM, but my subs need levelling before I pick that up again.) My MNK gear isn't the best that it could be at 25 (I need to upgrade hands and feet at some point) but I do have a subligar! ;p

It's not a matter of not having the best/uber stuff. :) I don't expect people to have god gear, especially not at level 22 and at rank2. I certainly didn't have uber gear at that level (And still really don't..), but I *had* gear. This guy was doing without. It's like you said, you had a full set.
When he showed up in lizard I said nothing. Hell, I was in level 16 stuff at the time. It was only as he started acting like an e-penis idiot, and I noticed he was missing feet and gloves, that I grimaced. :)

We're still 23-24, and planning to level on Sat morning in Qufim. I'd really like to level with you sometime though. :)

XP'ing with you guys would be all kinds of fun. I think the next times I have free are Sunday afternoon and Tuesday evening. If those don't work and you want to keep going, please do so.

Sunday evenings are bad for me because I go visit family and then have an RP group.

This coming Monday is RP group week, so Tuesday's my next available time. I can stay on for a decent amount of time then.

Yes, that would be lovely, thank you. ^^ That's 7-7:15 for me, so I'll be home from work and will have had dinner by then, although I may have to AFK at some point to take out the trash. I can probably stay until midnight or so my time, so that gives us a good long session if we want it.

Unfortunately, I probably can't do this sort of thing on a regular basis, but a good xp session will be nice, and it'll help save you from random lol-folk for at least one week. ^_~
