Around the world four or five times... (FFXI)

Feels like all I did tonight was travel. Started out by buying all my BRD songs till 40. Farmed two of them (couple hours spent in Castle Oz) because I had read that one sold for 500K. Stupid me hadn't checked -- both the songs I needed were 4K at the AH. All that time spent for nothing? Not really, it was sort of fun, so hey. Whatever.

I had nothing I wanted/needed to do, so I went to Sandy, Windy, Bastok, and Jeuno to get my vendor spells instead of letting my mules do it. Turned out to be a poor idea, since I kept arriving at the dock as the airship was leaving. >< Four or five times that happened tonight!

Once that was done I really, really had nothing to do. Nothing I wanted to level, didn't need to farm, didn't want to craft, so I decided to skill a new weapon: Great axe. Got 60 levels on it. o.O Annoying slow two-handed weapon. Got Sturmwind though, which is nice.

Since I got that leveled, I figured maybe this weekend I'll go out and finish leveling WAR (to subjob level, at least). I'd rather use a one-handed axe, but it'll be nice to be able to use a two if it's needed.

I look nice in SAM AF!

This was the funniest thing I saw in a long while: You don't say... He kept spamming that in /say five or six more times, till it killed him. Heehee.

If you have to skill up a slow weapon, you could try to sub /mnk and attack monsters with fast double attacks, and let counter do the work for you o.O

Good ldea, but my MNK is only 6. :P Might be an idea to get it to 10 for this though!
