Fishies, digging, chests, and stuff (FFXI)

Only got to use half my quota of chocobo digging items (ran out of time), but it was okay because it was a bunch of crap. 48 items, nothing better than insect wings and pebbles. Three digging trips since the nerf: two bad, one good.

Then ran around Fei'Yin to get a chest key and chest to belatedly get my Scroll of Teleport-Vahzl. Was planning on selling it. Yesterday the price was 500K (down from hundreds of thousands higher), today it was 400K. Might as well just store it till the price goes up or on the off chance I ever XP WHM (HA HA HA HA HA).

Lastly I spent a surprisingly long amount of time making my betta fish tank. Here it is! Yay! (Small screenshot.) Lots of synths and farming for silica, and major thanks to Draque for fishing the items up in scary zones, but yay! It's so cool! I love the glowing lights on the bottom.

Besieged is annoying me geatly. I've not been to one since Monday. >< The numbers have been at 99 for days, though I did spot it change to 98 for a moment. S-E, Besieged was my favorite thing to do on the game, so would you please either fix it or make it back to how it was?

Tomorrow is BRD XPing. I keep standing in front of the AH and sorting through armor, but never finding anything to buy. I spent millions and millions on DRK, non-stop throwing money at it, so those whole lack of new BRD armor thing is really making me twitchy. Just to spend money, I made a mostly useless upgrade on a ring (HQ1 to HQ2 for a couple points of defense, I had had one HQ1 and one HQ2 ring before that). That actually did make me feel a little better, even if it wasn't a necessary purchase.

Hey, I never thought that I would level WHM... and before I knew it, it hit 58. DRK on the other hand, I'll never take it higher than it already is... it stays at 37! >:D

How do you think BRD is compared to RDM? To be honest, I immediately fell asleep in the Dunes on BRD so it's not getting much higher than 15. RDM, well... it's 75 and I bring it everywhere, but that's mainly because I find it marginally more exciting... 2 gil for your thoughts :(

BRD puts me to sleep as well. I don't hate the job, but it bores me to hell. If I weren't in an XP static with LS friends, I'd never touch the job again. Working with them makes it worth it. :) (And man, is the BRD AF UGLY! Gah!)

I liked RDM for a long, long time (it's 68 now), but in the sixties I grew to seriously hate it. A series of bad random parties plus wow, nothing but endlessly refreshing.

I guess I'm a melee person at heart. I love DDing (especially when I can produce big numbers), SCing, all that. I love carrying a weapon, not a silly staff or a wand. :P

Yeah, I can imagine how it'd be kind of hard to be excited about new BRD gear. "Yay, now I can... make other people attack faster?" Though I am a dork and adored the job, so I DID get excited about CHR rings, Gleeman's Belt and AF. =P I can see why you wouldn't care though, especially after having Thick gear to look forward to on DRK. ;)
