Fishing: 1 hour, 5 rods broke, 1 fish caught, 0 skillups

Digging: 55 stacks of greens o.O. 35 stacks in the Deserts = 5 items. Went to Meri Mountains. 3 gold beastcoins dug. 2 = greens paid for, 1 = profit. Sad.

Didn't do much else! Zoom!

Edit, hour later: Ha ha Besieged. 300 more XP for BRD. Will do math tomorrow.

Had absolute crap results both digging and mining Friday evening; the only good part of the evening was logging in on Watersday and getting 2 HQ2 desynths in a row on Moblin Helms. Slightly better digging today in the Jungle, but not much. Mining is just futile unless you actually enjoy having to compete for mining points.

I've found weekends are just a bad time to dig or HELM because the usual "JP time"/"NA time" lines completely blur.

Need a parser or something to track my digging results more accurately.

Yeah. On weekends (which includes Friday, sadly) I'm going to have to avoid the Deserts and Jungles. If I head straight to the Mountains and get three gold beastcoins, that's 50K profit (one covers the greens, other two = profit). Not as good as I'd do elsewhere, but unfortunately "elsewhere" isn't really an option when you can't find non-busy times.

Mining is just futile unless you actually enjoy having to compete for mining points.

I really really hate mining and almost never do it. Even if I had the whole zone to myself, I'm one of those people who have that "tabbing = crashing" bug. Anything like mining, harvesting, even pulling in zones that have lots of mobs together will freeze up my game and force me to reboot. Very annoying!

I had kept a spreadsheet when I first started digging, but soon got lazy and dropped it. I keep thinking I need one now, because I know day/moon affects things (SE has said so), but I don't know what those effects are (other than digging up the ores -- but is it more than that?).
