XPy day! Yay! (FFXI)

Besieged: Level 3, undead. Long, hard fight (even with 400 people at the end) -- but I think I have the new Besieged figured out. I think level 5 is supposed to be lost/nearly impossible, that would explain why level 2s and 3s are so hard. Went as BRD, got full reward! Should be nicely synched up with static now. Died once, because I was silly and ran into the thick of things to try to get songs on our NIN. It's going to be odd to go back to attending 'Sieges as DRK; I'm getting used to playing a support role!
Eco and Escort: Nearly max XP rewards on both! 910 (of a possible 1K) from Eco, 1490 (of possible 1500) from Escort! Ding WAR 29! Yay! When I hit 30, I might actually go back to seeking a party on it, I just want to get it out of the Jungles first.
Digging: Yay! Yay! Yay! Finally accomplished a big (silly) goal: From the time I started digging, I wanted to dig up an adaman ore in Meri Mountains (the very hardest/rarest thing to dig there). It's not the most expensive thing by far (only 45K as of tonight), but it sounded like such a cool thing! And tonight I got one! Yay! Four gold beastcoins instead of the usual three, too!
And now I'm out of time! Packed for BRD static tomorrow, but couldn't get to Jeuno since the warp taru is gone. Really hope he's back tomorrow!

Date: 2006-08-15 02:12 pm (UTC)Wondering if the Adaman indicates you'll level up soon. Just thought about it, and I think I got that King Truffle in Yuhtunga a day or two before I dinged. May take longer for you to ding since you're at a higher level, but maybe the ore is a sign you've reached some kind of milestone within the A15 level.
Not trying to get your hopes up, just a random thought that hit me.
