Stuck in a rut o/~ (FFXI)

thistlechaserThe day started out good. BRD static. In the first 40 minutes, we made 6K XP. o.o Had a nice JP COR as our random 6th person. Unfortunately, as happened with every COR we've had before her, she "lost her connection" in the middle of things. (She was JP, we're guessing she was tired and wanted an easy out.) We brought in another SAM -- third time we had SAM x3, third time the random SAM wasn't great, but luckily he didn't stay long. We finished with a BLU, who didn't speak a single word until a sentence at the very end. Ended at BRD 47! Yay!
After that, mostly spun my wheels:
-Fished: Broke two rods, caught five fish (!!!) including one that would have been in the top five in the contest if I had caught it last week ><, got zero skillups.
-Digging: I shouldn't have said 'three gold beastcoins is getting boring' because tonight I got two. >< I've never gotten less than three when doing my full 100 items there! Blah.
-Crafted: For profit (animal glue, because my mules are finally out of things to sell) and for skill (hate smithing so very very very much. Got two levels (39), just want to get to 60 and drop it).
I really need to do some farming, but for some reason haven't felt like it at all lately. Blah. Haven't felt like doing much in the game at all lately.
