thistlechaser | I've got a fast car, is it fast enough that we can fly away?

My fast car makes a really, really bad noise. Metal on metal when I brake, the scraping enough that I can feel it through the break pedal. So in hopes of not dying, I made an appointment to take it in on Monday after work. Gonna get the oil changed (likely not due yet, but might as well since I'm there) and tires rotated (lord knows when I had that done last) at the same time as they check the brakes. They close at 6 and they're taking me in at 5, so it sounds like I won't be sitting there all night. Yay that.

Man, it's only 8:38. How in the world am I going to get through eight and a half more hours of work? Bored, bored, bored.
