Busy night, late night, fast post! (FFXI and TV!)

Arg! I missed the first 10 minutes of Heroes! Arg! I was on the wrong darned channel and had the TV paused, so didn't see that it was wrong until I un-paused it. Unfortunately I was way way way too busy to watch it with my full attention, but loved it anyway! And I have it recorded to watch again later!

I think I'm in love with Hiro~ Other than the fact that he had no trouble at all reading our comic books, yet I still stumble over manga-direction. Though maybe he just reads a lot of American comics!

Eco and Escort Monday, followed by helping two folks through G3. We had some excitement, but both got their crests and anyone who died got at least a R2. That's the last time I'm taking Nai on a double date with Des and Dani! Sheesh! ;)

Wow, what'd I do after that that filled up the whole night? Tried to shuffle crap around enough to pack for BRD static tomorrow. Rewrote macros. Made 6 stacks of sheep leather...

Oh! I was an idiot and bought more hides to skill on. >< There were 42 up! So I got about 20 at 9-10K each! After spending about 350K on those, other hides I need for the synth, and various other needed items for skilling, I got .1 skillup. What an idiot I am. I cringed over spending 160K for an earth staff (necessary item!) yet I drop 300K for nothing and have to resist buying more damned hides. I've taken all my cash off my Jeuno mule, and will have to just resist looking again.

I've not mentioned digging in a while, because it's become non-fun and muchly frustrating. However, yesterday and today I got really good results! Days like these are what keeps me from quitting. (That and being poor...) Yesterday I got 7 (7! New record!) gold beastcoins, 4 yellow rocks (same level as GBC), 1 adaman ore, and 1 black chocobo feather (same level as ore). Today I got 6 gold beastcoins and a few yellow rocks.

Considering that Hiro openly references the X-men (and more specifically, Kitty Pride), I'm pretty sure he reads a lot of American comics. It's not an easy detail to pick up, though, since it happens right before they throw him out of the bar for being in the womens' bathroom.

I don't think I went digging at all last week, for much the same reason. Especially with ore prices in the toilet, it's incredibly frustrating. Did okay last night, though. 4 wyvern scales, 2 coral fragments and a gold ore. The wyvern scales were enough for me to put an entire stack up for sale. Also picked up a gold beastcoin in Tahrongi over the weekend when I decided to choco from Windy to Shakhrami for the Shikaree BC.

Was kind of surprised at how quickly I got my 100 items, too, even if it was mostly crap. Less than 18 stacks of greens used. Wondering if SE really has started coming down hard on the RMT already because Loki mentioned that Sky was practically deserted last night. No competition at Faust or MG or Zip, practically deserted Ulli camp.

At the moment, gold beastcoins are selling/stable (15K each in Bastok), so I'm somewhat less annoyed this week. Hopefully they'll stay that way. *tries not to remember when they were stable at 25K each*

Hm, yeah. Seems like I have been having an easier time getting to 100 lately. By the way, what do you do with your extra greens? Do you have room to store them? Drop them? Vendor them? I really hate having to trip over five or more stacks of greens for the next 24 hours (usually I mail them to myself to get them out of the way), but I hate vendoring them back for a loss.
