Fast post, no screenshots (FFXI)

Screenshots another day, no time to edit them tonight.

Did the "BC" (open air BC?), the Pirate's Chart one. Went well, other than Draque almost dying because my spell kept being out of range. But it looked like I should have just beat on the mob after the first Flows and would have killed it in two shots. Drops weren't anything special: two ex baits, one weapon that sells slowly for 5-6K, and an ex fishing ring.

However, now that I could get tarutaru folding screens from the vendor, I was able to get my house from an insane 8 beds to a somewhat more reasonable 3 beds. The screens are big and ugly, but less so than the beds. So while I'd like some of those sky pots, I don't need them NOW NOW NOW anymore.

After that tried to work on SAM. >< Spent an hour seeking, got invited to a party where we sat for an hour looking for a tank, disbanded and sat for a half-hour seeking, then gave up and went digging. Can't believe how badly dealing with random parties sucks.

The really fun part of the day was farming in Castle Oz with Des~! Unfortunately (for him) I came out ahead. :P I stole 6 gold beastcoins! I've never stolen that many before! Also got my third merit, woo woo! (I've only been in a merit party once, so almost all of those three merits have come from key hunting, test hunting, skilling, etc.) No clue what I'm going to do with them, but I'm at the point that I really have to decide...

Tried Decimation for the first time since getting it a week ago! Was pretty and I spun around! Too bad the damage sucks so badly.

In-game money making amuses me. I'm now 100 +3, yet I still make the vast majority of my money on a level 2 synth. (And unlike other crafts, HQing raw materials in leather makes nothing extra.) But happily, I've made back half the money it took me to get gold from 20->60, smithing from 35->60, and leather from 80-whatever -> 100!

zzzz Hate logging off in the middle of fun, but I have to get up so early in the morning. :/

next time you get a pirate's chart, don't use it. (the ex baits are for ebisu quest i believe). Once you have a pirate's chart, if Zaldon the whore decides to give you a chart, it will ONLY be the Brigand's. ^^ So always keep a pirate's chart in storage and you'll only get brigand's.

Oh, that's a good idea! How hard is Brigand's? What job did you do it as? How often did you get the sky pots? And woo, wooden are good, too!

Brigand's is easy. Just bring a friend that's above 45 ( i was doing it on 48 whm). have them in pt, they don't get levelcapped, and if you fish up a monster they can provoke it away.
