It's late and way way too hot (70-something outside, 80-something inside), so this will be fast. Bed calls!

Farmer's Market: Best Thing Ever. Loved the people, lots of fun. Bought too much stuff.

Picking up new chair from Office Depot: Worst Company Ever. I ordered it at 1 on Saturday, went in at 11 on Sunday to pick up, no one put it together. They said come back in 20-30 minutes, came back in 40, not done. Stood in store 45 minutes, not done. >< They ended up giving me a 50% discount (was supposed to be 15%, but the cashier's first language isn't English), which was nice... except when I took the chair out of the trunk TWO screws fell off! ><

FFXI: Logged on to check /bmap, saw people gathered in the Safehold, joined in on a panty run! Got BRD panties (items for quest not up at AH, but will deal with that tomorrow), got Fomor Cloak from Eba (wanted that ever since I lost the lot by like 2 to some non-LS person), and a Fomor Codex~!

Stayed on later than I wanted, but I was tired, it was fun, and didn't feel like doing anything else, so it's okay.

zzz now.

Oh! And I cooked my own garlic bread! Best Bread Ever. Mmm.

It was fun, though I usually enjoy going on panty raids. We got so much stuff. Draq and my TH were on overdrive I think x.X; Don't think I'll have the energy tonight to work on hate though x.x; It was kinda tiring.

Yeah, I was surprised how many panties we got! And I'm glad everyone got what they wanted.

Real life can be an interesting, unpredictable, scary, fun place. While my social life has started to feel like the political intrigues of sci-fi novel, I find something weird in a stack of old test scores- I qualified to join Mensa when I was a kid. Just never did.

Anyway, point of this comment is a magical form of garlic toast. The lovely dish titled 'Chicken and 40 cloves' leaves you chemically altered, delicious, spreadable cloves of garlic. Spread a couple on bread, toast, best garlic toast I've ever had. The chicken involved in the recipe was marvelous too (even better when I used the leftover chicken in a risotto recipe).

Wow. That looks incredibly simple, and amazingly tasty. 40 cloves is a LOT of garlic though. Might have to try it with boneless, skinless breasts sometime though. Hrm. Maybe needs the skin for the full flavor. I love that you recycled the cloves after the fact.

I bet even THISTLE could do THAT recipe! ^_^

Heehee! I've heard nothing but good things about that recipe, and while it sounds yummy, I could never try it. The whole no-meat thing. :P

That looks... amazing. If my kitchen's a little more accomadating I'd be tempted to try that myself D:

Yeah, I've seen that around a few places, and people only have great things to say about it. If I ate meat, I'd be all over trying it!

But since I don't, maybe I'll make more garlic bread tonight. Mmmm~

mmm... Yeah, I <3 the farmer's market there.
I don't know what they're called, or really what you enjoy eating ^o^, but there are these russian pastery things that are super yummy... One is like cheese and brocolli and another is curry...

I get back on Saturday(!) so I can research it soon if you'd like!

Oh, shoot, I totally dropped the ball on meeting up with you again before you left. I'm sorry. Good luck with the move!

No no no... this is my fault. I've been absent from FFXI for so long, and then I didn't think to say anything the few times I've been on.

Thanks!

We had a Russian stand at the market, so I bet I know what you mean! Kind of... pastery... things, filled with stuff. I wasn't brave enough to try one, but maybe next time!

70-something. Dang, I'm incredibly jealous. Although it did get in the 60s here on Saturday, and I was walking around outside for a while, and it felt really, really good.

I can't wait for spring. Winter gets me depressed.

Yeah, that's too cold, but I'd like a little less heat here. 10 AM and it's already 78. *pantpant*

Silly Thistle, all the good Office Depots are in the east! Or at least the best one near me is. (Long story short: Went into OD with a printed coupon for a free 10 pack of CD-Rs on the last day it was good, OD was out of stock on 10 packs and gave me a 15 pack instead. Everybody won. :D)
