Three hours sleep last night. It's after my usual logging off time. Besieged is building.

I said to myself: As much as I like Besieged, I'm starting to wish SE hadn't introduced it.

Then I laughed and decided I'd be better off wishing for some self-control so that I could log off at bedtime, no matter what /bmap was showing.

I'm going to be so tired tomorrow.

(PS: I did get to the farmer's market this morning! Very very happy I did. Best corn on the cob I've had in my life, three pints of strawberries (two eaten already!), cherries, blueberries, and lots of fresh bread! Mmmm.)

PPS: Ghostandfriends is a very scary elf. Even scarier when we have conversations in haiku. Being hit on is no better even when in 5-7-5 form!

I hate you. Strawberries are so expensive here, Jhed used to be able to get two cartons for 3 bucks in his town. Here it's 2.29 for one, bleh.

As far as besieged goes, my problem is I can't stay awake long enough.. my body is too conditioned to get to bed by like 1am at the latest that it starts to crash me out right about now. Sucks. I want to use it to finish thief and black mage. Oh well.

I think ours was three cartons (pints, I believe) for $5. A good deal! Especially since this time none of them were moldy or mushy. (That had been a problem lately with vendors at the market.) I have one last bowl of them cut up and waiting for eating after work! Mmm.

Besieged is addictive for me, but only when I need Imperial Standing. Considering that I want the Perdu Sword and a bunch of khroma ores and a bunch of imperial gold pieces potentially, I feel in need of Imperial Standing, and thus my attraction to Besieged has grown again. Nice for merits too.

I miss midwest prices on produce ;; Fresh fruit is so expensive here, have yet to see strawberries for cheaper than like $3.00 for those plastic 16oz containers. In Michigan, I was getting 2 of those for $3 /cry.

Late-night Besiegeds are the best though. You feel tired as hell afterwards because it's so late, makes it feel like more of a battle or something. At least they're back up to level 8 now, no more fucking around with level 2 bullshit and crappy merits/IS.

All those are good reasons to do them, though in addition, for me, I do it because it's the "right" thing to do. Can't let the bad guys take over our city! :P

I love the farmer's market so much -- so much cheap fruit and veggies! The only bad part is how quickly it all adds up. $3 for this, $5 for that, $1 for this, $6 for that. Somehow I spent $35 yesterday on just fruit and bread! Though it filled my backpack and my arms were filled with bags so I did get a whole lot of stuff, just that $35 for fruit/veggies/bread for one person seems like a lot.
