Has there ever been a cat more fitting of an image macro? Swimming cat will make you pay... Heehee, someone's going to die!

FFXI: Ding WHM 49. I realized something ironic today: I didn't want to level RDM in a party because all you do is refresh, haste, and cure. Redundant and boring. Yet how am I leveling WHM? 10+ levels so far of hitting two or three macros: One bar- macro (x3), one song macro (x5), and if NPCs are there (oh joy, oh joy) I get to hit a third macro (protect, x10). Wait exactly 6 minutes if no NPCs, 11 minutes if NPCs. Turn in tags. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

I did that for ten hours straight today. As meleeing at 49 is still worthless (I connect maybe one swing in ten, and then for 0 damage -- with food and /BRD song), I expect to be leveling this way for more levels.

But hey, if I do make it to 75 this way, I can fairly claim the 'worst WHM on the server' title! I did 1-36 four years ago, 36-38 with XP scrolls years back, now 38- spamming macros in Campaign.

I hope WHM meleeing becomes reasonable soon, because I don't know how much longer I can keep this up and not go crazy.

I hate to break it to you, but I doubt you would be anything close the worst WHM on the server. Sure, your divine/healing/enfeebling skills would suck, but those skills are not all that relevant. Most people don't really expect WHMs to repose/enfeeble effectively anyway, and healing skill is a cruel joke. And this from someone who capped out divine/enfeebling on WHM way back when.

I suppose enhancing is important for the Bar-spells, but you will get enough random skill ups from teleporting it shouldn't be too big of a problem.

Oh, I meant player-skills, not character-skills. Over the last few weekends we were doing a LS event and I was backup healing on my RDM. I kept forgetting to check the HP bars. *cough* Sometimes half the fight would go by before I went 'Oh yeah! I should check that!'. :P

I pity the party that ever got me as a mainhealer. Hee.
