Quickie post! (RL)

I've not posted about FFXI in forever since nothing interesting is going on. WHM is 64, still only through Campaign. *yawn*

niffy mentioned this horrible amusing porntastic Japanese game: For the Nintendo DS, it's... Duel Love! The name is misleading though, as the whole point of the game is to towel off naked anime men. I'd call it NWS for the sound effects (nothing visual at all). It's the sounds that made me laugh out loud though. Boy, those men sure do enjoy being toweled off. o.O

Alas I don't own that game, and instead Professor Layton and the Curious Town is eating my brain. I don't usually play puzzle games, but this one is so cute! You can find a demo here.

And lastly, I have no idea what the story behind this picture is, but they're horrible and cute at the same time.

I spent part of the day having a nice lunch with tersa and her housemate/my other friend C. Mmm, all you can eat salad bar. Very very happily, they took all my Diet Coke off my hands! (I had had six cases left, but I can't drink it anymore and don't want to throw it out, but she was able to find a good home for it.)

Also, Professor Layton is by far the best puzzle game I've played in a long long time, and the only one that really made me think at times too. I can't wait for the next one! :)

Yeah, I'm enjoying how they're making me think! It's so hard to resist googling for answers when I don't get it right away though.

That'd be a good game: Something that tests your websearching skills!

I've been kinda looking forward to Professor Layton. I might get it if I can get the money.

Have you looked into the Phoenix Wright series at all? If you have any remote interest - get it. It's very well executed with some very interesting characters. They really grow on you after three games! ;)

It's totally worth getting. Not only is it a lot of fun, I like that you can set it aside and come back to it days later and not miss anything. (Yay non-MMOs?) I've not touched it in a couple days, but it's nice to know I won't be behind when I do go back to it. :)

I think Phoenix Wright has to be my next game on my list. So many people have recommended it! Maybe once I'm done with Professor I'll go get it.

Dammit... now I want to get a DS just for that game. Though I'm sure I'd wind up googling the answers if I got impatient too; I took about 10 minutes on that first puzzle. It was pretty shameful!
