Vampirates! (link, comic)

Need a little amusement? A new online comic to follow? Vampirates might just be the thing for you! Canadian (heehee) vampire pirates done in a fun anime style.

I've only read chapter one (of six) so far, but wow, I love the characters, the style, the story, and did I mention the characters? *snickersnerks*

(Edit: All six chapters read. So good! But such a headache! I've not focused/read any one thing that long in more than a week.)

PS: I'm continuing to improve. Maybe one day I'll be able to log on to FFXI and actually focus enough to do something! It's so odd to have been home all these days and almost never logged on.

Newfie just means someone from Newfoundland. It's less insulting than calling someone from the northern US a Yankee.

I love it and I admit to getting all emotional during the flashback with Ira and Hassan. What makes it even better is that Ira is shown to not be such a complete bastard later on and Hassan is just as much of an ass as Ira is.

I almost want to warn you not to read it. I loved it so much, and the characters are eating my brain, but there's no new story! We have to wait days and days for one new page! Arg! It's in my head and I want more more more but there's none to be had! I'm about to read it through from the beginning again to see if that'll help. :P
