I can't stop looking at this picture. I've never seen such a sexy, homoerotic, odd religious image before! (Warning: Apparently it's an old image that people have long ago spotted what I've just seen in it, so if it's not new to you feel free to point and laugh at me.)

I've been trying to put my finger on just what pings as those things, but all I come up with is 'everything'. The man's face, Jesus' hands, the way the shirt is pulled up a bit to show some skin... Only element I question/don't like is how is the man holding onto the hammer/nail if he (assumedly?) unconscious?

Anyway: Evil vampire homoerotic Jesus ftw!

Maybe I'm weird, but I completely fail to see 'homoerotic' in that. XD Just a faltering guy getting held up so he can get back on his feet again.

Look at the guy's (I keep wanting to say "Hume's" for some reason) face, his eyebrows especially. And as someone else commented, look at Jesus' sexy hands! And the way the shirt is pulled up. And how close Jesus' face is to him, it looks like he's about to nuzzle him. (And the more I type this comment, the closer I feel like I'm going to Hell~.)

It has to do with the implication that we are all responsible for nailing Jesus to the cross via the sin he died for. It shows that He's willing to support you and help you back to your feet even though you nailed Him to the cross.

"The Second Coming" : Jesus is back, and this time he's a vampire. On the prowl for blood and love, he isn't the only carpenter that's gonna get nailed.

And *bap* you know me better than that. I don't look at any two men together, or men together touching, and always think 'gay!'. Look at their expressions, the body language. If one wasn't supposed to be (um, I'm not sure what term I should be using here. 'half-god'? 'son of a god'? Or does Jesus count as a god even though his mother was human?), their body language is pretty darned clear.

*rolls* Do you know how many boring work meetings I've spent entertaining myself by pairing the guys up? Unfortunately, while my company has ~200 people in it, the vast majority of the guys all look similar, so I spice things up by inventing interesting personalities for them (I don't know most of them). It sure does make meetings better!
