I'm going to ruin the second one for you! That's just two dolls next to each other: a Haruhi model alongside some sort of superhero/villain/flaming (ha) guy. Unfortunately, I'm pretty certain there actually is a doll like that out there. After all, Japan did produce this work of art (totally NWS).

What disturbs me about that statue you linked to is that it was described as being 'larger-than-life', and with no actual scale or visual guide to the size of it in the photograph I am left wondering if that isn't some 20' monstrosity of a thing.

Plus, I really would not want to be at eye-level with that lasso. It could probably put an eye out.
