This one has a simple and unsurprising source: randompictures. Unfortunately 95% of the stuff posted there is spam, annoying, or NWS stuff, but I keep the comm friended for the 5% of really random, fun, amusing images. That really, really odd Japanese picture of the two people in school uniforms and the yellow fuzzy thing (http://www.wordpress.tokyotimes.org/archives/school_girl_art.jpg) I posted a while back came from there as well.

The artist is saying that the US and all it's variety and color is going the way of the dinosaur and is heading towards (note the direction of the stegosaur mount) the "dark side" (symbolised by he death star) of fundamentalist islam.
