Honeymoon is over, Google. You may soon be able to send men to Mars and cure cancer, but suddenly you hate me and won't let anyone visit my site anymore?

I woke up this morning and opened Firefox. I have a default page on my personal site set as my homepage. Instead I got a bright red page reading:

-----
Reported Attack Site!

This web site at www.hot-hot-hot-catlove.com has been reported as an attack site and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

Attack sites try to install programs that steal private information, use your computer to attack others, or damage your system.

Some attack sites intentionally distribute harmful software, but many are compromised without the knowledge or permission of their owners.

Further it claims:

-----

...yeah... No one has access to Catlove other than me. I've looked at the directories they claimed had bad stuff in it, and there's nothing but .html and .jpg files made/uploaded by me.

I've submitted my site for review, hopefully that'll get things straightened out. :/

It looks to me like you've been hacked. Your index page, for instance, has fifteen javascript entries in it that decrypt and then invoke an url to an offsite script. It's very much like the things people keep trying to use SQL Injection techniques to add to my clients sites; if you have a web-based admin area (usually supplied by your host), it's possible that has been attacked rather than you directly.

Sorry for the belated reply, gmail decided the replies to this post were spam and dumped them into the spam filter. If someone else hadn't mentioned your comment, I never would have known!

Ugh! Well all the .html pages are now gone and the site is down and moving to new hosting (though unrelated to that issue) so hopefully that'll clear everything up!

Curses! Foiled again!

And I wonder if many people keep porn saved on their local machines anymore. It's so easy to access online, and so much variety...

Probably, I mean, since there is so much variety and access to it on the internet and alot of streaming programs have the ability to just download what you want (both porn and non-porn) so if you get something you like you can back it up on your system and keep it for if your internet goes down, your sites get closed down, or whatever.

Heh! Good! People should talk about porn more! Everyone looks at it at least sometimes, so it's not like they have something to hide...

Yes. :/ I'm really glad this happened while I was on vacation, I wouldn't have had time to deal with it while at work.
