More BSG posting!

thistlechaserI don't think I've ever been so... so caught up in the music of a series before, to the point where I have to stop watching the ep and look up stuff about the music.
Allegro is just the most amazing thing to listen to, though 'amazing' isn't exactly the right word for it. I'm not a music person in the least, I don't buy CDs, I rarely listen to the radio, but this piece holds my interest so well, especially the first 40 seconds or so. It's so complex (yet simple, it's just repeating the same notes!). I don't understand how it catches my attention so well, hooks into my brain, makes my ears interested when almost every other bit of music around bores me.
I bet it would be something else to hear it played live.
I'm on ep 7 of season two (Home, part 2). Can't stop watching! :D
