Arg! Stupid reality TV!

A while back I posted how, in my eight years of watching reality TV, many series per year, only TWO of the people I wanted to win ever won. Tonight the person I liked in So You Think You Can Dance was voted out! Arg!

How is it that the people I like never win? Even if I were picking randomly, I should have better odds than this! Grrr.

Same here. I knew my person (Asuka) didn't have a snowball's chance after being paired with Vitolio, given really bad choreography to do (Thanks a bunch, Tyce!), and landing in the bottom three twice, and yet, I wanted to see her win so badly. She's got the personality and the chops.

By the way, who were you rooting for? Asuka or Jonathan?

(Surprised? I'm a big fan of SYTYCD even if I don't mention it much. Haven't missed a season yet, though I'm getting rapidly bored by this one.)

Asuka, yes. She was so good in the try-outs! When they asked her to look sexy and she just touched her cheek and dropped her eyes? Gah! I watched that scene so many times!

Same. Yay for Tivo! I can just pause it, then scroll through the boring bits and watch just the parts I want to see. Which had been Asuka dancing... Now I guess I'll just fastforward through most of it!
