50 bracket PvP, AKA: OMG, I hate DKs! (WoW, TV)

I hit 50 rogue last night, woo! Which put me into a new bracket today! And, for the first time, I PvPed with Death Knights. I learned many things today.

1) Every single Alliance player above level 58 is a DK. Seriously, at one point today I had eight DKs and their various ghouls jump me at once. I felt the need to apologize that all of them didn't get a swing in before I died.
2) I really, really hate DKs. What the living hell am I, rogue 50, supposed to do against multiple DKs? Not to mention the way they could just drag me around the battleground. I now know what a rabbit thrown into a pack of dogs feels like. *shake*shake*shake*KILL*

But! The XP at the lowest level is amazing. I got 10% of XP to level per fight, so in 11 matches I had leveled (9 wins, 2 losses), some matches took as little as five minutes.

Once I hit 51, I got to try out AV. After thirty levels of nothing but AB, AV was something of a shock. I went from knowing every exact detail of what to do, to being utterly clueless. I just followed the crowd and hoped for the best. We won, I got 25% of my level from the one match o.O, and three AV marks! 3/30 on my wolf, 0/40 on my last two pieces of 60 purples!

Got my third piece of purple 60 armor today, and it was the most expensive one so eee!

TV: I only got to watch a tiny bit of Being Human (maybe the first 10 minutes of the ep), but man am I loving it. It helps that I love werewolf stuff, not to mention naked butts! So much naked manflesh in such a short period! :P I can't wait to have time to watch more.

Finished Big Bang Theory, which made me sad. I loved every single minute of that show, and I laughed out loud quite a bit. *wiggles and wants more now* Yay new TV season starting soon!

I've never PvPed in the lower levels (lowest being 66 on my warrior) so I didn't have that much of a problem with DKs, although it seems that my battlegroup is swimming in alliance paladins! Blah, stupid bubble. I did an AV on my DK as well and we were getting pushed back (first time in a long time an AV was even on numbers right off the bat). I think we lost like 90 to 0 but it was epic battles! I got like 17 killing blows and was 2nd place in damage done overall (~650,000 damage, I did get the 300,000 damage to player characters achievement right near the end of the BG). I love AV, so much fun.

Best part of that one was I was running towards the main front and a warrior was running past me and he decided "must kill!" so he hamstrings me, I froze him into a block of ice and kept going. Then a druid came so I threw chains of ice at him and kept going. Then a Shaman and another Warrior caught me from the front so I figured I was screwed at this point an took a stand. I killed both the warriors and almost finished off the Shaman all by myself XD Thank god the Druid and Shaman weren't that bright since they didn't help cure the warriors (who were hurting me the most) so I just outlasted them. Good times, I felt like god.

I love that feeling! Today I (51 rogue) killed a 54 hunter and his pet solo! Made me feel really, really powerful. :D

And ugh! Paladins were my most hated things until I ran into DKs. :P

Once you're used to AV, I recommend taking the initiative and simply riding north. Near "Icewing Bunker" (just north of Stonehearth Graveyard), if you veer right before the hill descends, you can go up a small mountain. You can travel along here to get to Stormpike Graveyard usually without many people finding you (and if they decide to attack, you should be able to escape as long as you just keep going - with Nature's Grasp among other things, druids can escape from almost anything). You can stealth across the bridge and attempt to capture a bunker. Either you'll succeed and capture it, or you'll drag people north and perhaps help your teammates capture Stormpike!

I understand that these words mean NOTHING to you (Stormpike, Icewing, Snowfall, argh! So confusing what's what!), but it'll make sense if you play AV more! Just use your map well and you'll be fine.

Also, there's no reason to not use abilities like Nature's Grasp and Barkskin, but they're not necessarily intuitive. It's easy to forget that you can cast NG in a feral form, and Barkskin can even be cast while stunned or feared. If a rogue attacks you, there's virtually no reason to not Barkskin right off the bat. With just a minute cooldown, it's generally better to "waste" Barkskin than to "save it", if that makes sense.
