I wish I could have contained my notes to a notebook. I have one that I use and it's going along pretty good (I need to get pens that don't bleed >.>) looking back it's just random numbers everywhere and recipe's for stuff. Although I also have a quote from Romero and Juliet in here, for use of the one statue in San d'Oria dynamis!

I tend to write on just about everything though. I've even written things on the backs of envelopes before and then like my sister would use them and mail them off to someone. End up with a bunch of random FFXI aliases in weird orders with arrows drawn between them and various quick calculations on their letter XD
