When I posted last week about dudefoods.com wondering if it was real, I didn't expect much to come of it. Interesting comment-conversations at most. Turns out that Nick, the dude behind dudefoods, found me! (Fear the power of Google!) He made a video to prove he's real:

So, I take back my wondering if he's real (and if he could be that skinny with as much as he eats!). He's a real guy with a very cute dog. :D

Maybe he likes the taste of it better? I can't drink regular soda (hate the taste and how thick it is), so even if I'm having a horrible meal, I'd still drink a Diet Coke (or used to, now I drink water).

Or maybe it was a joke!

At first I thought that kinda argument was crazy because I think diet coke is bleh. But I had a diet pepsi (someone fails at filling vending machines at my school!) and thought it was pretty good. So I guess it is possible.

Blah diet coke is too bland and fizzy to be worth it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love me some carbonation in my drinks but that's like all there is to Diet Coke for me.

Ha! I dislike Diet Pepsi because it's too spicy! I didn't want to put that in my last comment because I didn't think anyone would get a soda being spicy, but you did!

I wish I could get over the aftertaste of diet drinks...I'd probably love it for the same reason you do then. I am not big on sweets.

It's something you get used to, yeah. I drank Diet Coke for years and years, it tasted nothing but wonderful to me. When I had to stop, once I got used to water, Diet Coke (ha ha, typoed "Diet Cope", now that's a product!) stopped tasting good. Now it tastes like chemicals to me. Sometimes I still have a little with a meal, but I enjoy water. Wacky but true!

It took me a long time to get used to water, and I still can't drink as much as I should. But hey, any amount of water I replace for Diet Coke is an improvement for my kidneys!
