Let me know about how the green beans go - I would like to eat them but I can't deal with them either. I definitely can't handle them at all canned. The only way I have been able to really eat them so far is taking fresh ones, blanching them for just a little while, and putting a hot mustard sauce my Chinese friend taught me on there. (It's just mustard powder and sesame oil and vinegar. Hers has sugar in it but I don't like sweet on my veggies.)
