A Dance with Dragons: Request

Hello, my lovely friends list!

I know many of us got our hot little hands on A Dance with Dragons today, and I know most of you probably know this already, but please please please be sure to put spoilers behind a cut! Some of us (like me) are going to be reading mighty slowly, and I'd really rather not be spoiled more than I already am. (A mainstream review spoiled the ending without a warning of any kind, ARG!!)

On a related note, something in the first few pages of the prologue had me grinning from ear to ear. I'm sure people will know it when they spot it! As I've been leaving comments in his LJ for ages, I'm thinking it's possible in a subconscious sort of way, though that may be just wishful thinking. :D

*cries* I haven't even gotten it yet... been so busy! I'm hoping/praying I can get it this weekend or something, if I'm feeling up to it, but oh lord my body is betraying me horribly. And then once I get it, the race is on to read it ASAP before I actually go into labor! I have a feeling a newborn won't allow for much reading time...

I'm so anxious to start reading! Things are hellish right now, and this is just the sort of distraction I need.

My mom says you can start reading to them from an early age, they just like the sound of your voice. She says it doesn't matter what you read, just that you read aloud. So hey...

This poor kid is going to be so inundated with nerdy stuff from a young age! *cackles*
