SMC is easily my favorite city, and not just because of the RP. It seems to have the most reasonable layout of them all. Undercity with all the tunnels leading to and from the elevators, I never ever ever pick the right ones, I always get the right one on my third try. Thunder Bluff and all the walkways between the rises (before flying mounts, I was so paranoid I'd fall off! Every time!). And Org is just so awful now.
Plus, I've come to like that there's no flying there. No big giant drakes sitting all over the place. (Can you imagine how people will grief with them once flying is added? How many will sit camped on the Row mailbox?) Everyone being forced to use ground mounts or walk adds to the RP environment for me, plus it's a chance to use spiffy ground mounts that would otherwise not see the light of day.
Your partner was chatting to me about it last night and seemed quite enthusiastic as well.
Yay, I'm glad to hear that! I always have a little worry in the back of my mind that while I'm loving the RP, they'll be like "UGH, I had to RP with that Thistle again! Blech!".
