First off, I wonder if that boy was really the terrorist guy's son. I strongly suspected not, through the whole ep. Not his son, they let Brody get attached, then kill the kid off. What better way to cement his feelings?
This was the first ep in a while that I liked the whole thing, from beginning to end. Brody's past is just so interesting, I love learning more about it.
This ep was also interesting in that it's the first one that made it seem not only okay, but reasonable to hate America.
It's really interesting how this show leads the viewers along, through different opinions. Is he a terrorist, is he not, is he, is he not, and now 'is he, but is it okay that he is?'. Not to mention 'what is a terrorist?' to begin with. If Brody hasn't and doesn't kill anyone, but is still loyal to the terrorists, what does it make him?
And why do the terrorists want Brody seen with the VP? Why do they want to help get the guy responsible for bombing the school (if he is) elected president?
(Edit: I think the fact that I used the word "interesting" so much means something. I love shows that make me think and wonder and want to figure things out. I think, in this case, this is a show that's better to be watched week by week than all at once after the season ends.)
