Slacker Saturday

I complain about not having had a vacation in nearly two years, but I get so bored with one day of nothing to do, I may have to rethink that.

By 9 AM, I was done with all my RL and WoW work.
By 10 AM, I was bored out of my mind.
10:30 I decided to go to the farmer's market even though I needed nothing. Got dressed, got ready, then (unsurprisingly) didn't want to go. I don't like shopping and didn't need anything, so...
Puttered for a half-hour, wasting time and watching the clock.
11-12 Debated going to Pizza Hut for lunch. Yes, I seriously spent an entire hour debating if I wanted to go or not. "I'm not hungry." "It would taste good." "It has tons of calories." "It's a far drive." Etc.
At noon I was productive and replanted some plants. Spent time trying to figure out how to make my sunflower seedlings grow straight. (They're so tiny! I couldn't even tie them to a post, they're tall but they're just thin little wisps.)

After that I spent the rest of the day on WoW. Got Crowfeather (my first WoW alt ever) to 85. That's 9/10 85s:

Should be no problem getting Clove done by MoP, then I'll just have 10 to do 85-90 on. :/ Eight are Horde (all belf except Thack the tauren), the two on the bottom are Alliance (worgen).

In the evening I took a brief spin around SMC to look for RP and found the worst, scariest RP outfit ever. D:

High point of the day was repeated viewings of The Legend of Korra. Thankfully Nik replayed it many times during the day, and I watched it every time. How can I love a show so much after only two eps? I love the artistic style, the character voices, the music (THE MUSIC! So amazingly good!), just the whole spirit of the show. It's just so good. Korra herself grew on me mega-fast, I love her so much. The city, the animals, everything.

I'm going to try to do more RL work tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be a less slacker-ish day than today was.

Otherwise, MOTHER OF GOD what is that RP outfit. I see things like that and I wonder if I really should come back. XDDD

I think I'm going to attempt to grow something. My husband loves sunflowers so maybe I'll give it a shot even though you make it sound like a challenge. But a challenge is good! Do you know how long on average it takes before they start standing on their own and looking like actual sunflower? It would be totally rad to have actual sunflowers by the time he comes home. :D

On the sunflowers, looking back at my LJ, I planted the seeds somewhere between 3/22-3/25, today is 4/15 and they look like this:


They're maybe 3-4 inches tall? They have no chance of standing on their own, and they're too tiny to even tie straight. Maybe you can find potted sunflowers?

And isn't that outfit the most awful thing? D:

I picked up WoW again, just so I had something to focus on aside from school, baby, and feeling sick. Don't have much time/energy to do a lot, but I'll often hop on for a little bit while I wait for my meds to kick in before bed. Had a friend who gave me a Scroll of Resurrection (so... despite me having not played in a year, by the time MoP comes out I'm going to have at least three 85s... holy crap, that's sad) but she's not always on, so I might stalk you on your server and say hi, if you wouldn't mind too much!

I've had 10 characters to 85 for awhile now but I did get my 3rd toon's archaeology to 525. I've talked before about arch with you so hopefully this isnt too random. I decided to try arch on a dwarf to see how much easier the racials make it. This would be my first toon to go 1-525 in 4.3 (main did it in 4.0.6, Flitwick in 4.2) so it was interesting to see how faster it is to level arch now. Only took a week to get it to 525, and was surprised to see the 6-10 fragment spread from digsites starts at lvl1 arch instead of building up. Sorta half-tempted to get it to Professor but not set in stone, already 9 rares done so far. Small perk was the treasure chests I'd find (thanks to tracking treasure racial) while flying around for some supplemental income selling the blues.

Yeah, I've kind of wanted to see how dwarf archaeology is, but I mostly play Horde (and have no alt slots left), so it's unlikely to happen. The treasure chest perk sounds really useful!

And yeah, they changed it so even the lowest level archaeology digs can give you the the same amount as the highest. They keep nerfing and nerfing and nerfing it... And a lot more nerfs to come in MoP, too (more frags per dig, teleporting to next dig site...).
