I'm late, I'm late! For a very important date!

Work's been crazy and I'm really behind, so this will be a short post.

One of the reasons I'm really behind is tiranog's wonderful story Nocturne. It's so long! And amazingly good! It's just the sort of Snape/Harry I like -- it's almost like she wrote it just for me. :) How good is it? She actually made vampire!Snape work! I would have never, ever believed that I could get into a "Snape as a vampire" story, but she made it fit canon!

I always find myself saying the same thing after I read outstanding fanfic: I cannot believe writers like her do this for free. She must have spent months writing this, and I got to read it for nothing! It was easily worth more than the price of a book.

Not much news on the FFXI front. We did our weekly Eco last night, but it put me into a horrible mood. I think I'm going to start refusing to do events with anyone who uses "rape" to mean a good thing. "We totally raped that!" Grrrrrr. Idiots.

I farmed a little, but mostly made bolts all night. I need money, as usual.

Beanie's mini-HMN event thing is tonight. I have to make time to get to the CTY site and print the info out (I hope it's up today, I couldn't get to it yesterday).
