A highly busy, but surprisingly relaxing day!
First off, this darned awful daylight savings time made the birds start chirping an hour "earlier", so I woke up (and got up) an hour earlier. 6:30 AM. On a Sunday. Gah.
I was online by 7, and headed to Jeuno to see if I could get a skill up party invite or an XP invite (based on the /search, an XP invite was highly unlikely.) But as soon as I zoned into Lower, I saw a shout for a skill up party, so I contacted the guy and he invited me. Woot! Alas and alack, I was way too low for the area... and low in general. 10 levels below the rest of the group (they were all 74-75), and about 100 skill levels below them. Even though I bought a 50K stack of sushi (OUCH), I got only one single .5 skill up. The DRK in the group was nice though (and knew and spoke well of
gbeans), and we had lots of DRK shop-talk -- a real first for me. Was nice, and he told me to keep in touch. :)
Other than thinking I was going to die in the beginning, the outing was short and uneventful. Someone was training Aquarius (big NM crab) around and died nearby, and one of the party members pounced on it. My LS was suggesting that this was a highly bad idea, so I put my warp object down so it'd be cooled to use.
This not being his age, we killed him. (Ha ha, I amuse myself. :P ) People were happy to get the axe, but I was just happy not to have gotten dead.

I left that party early for a whirlwind of helping LS people and skilling up: First to EN to get G1 paper for two people and a coffer key for two people, then to CN for mold for two and a key for one, then to GC where I was useless (other than standing on a switch), but bomb coals were gotten for two.
After that (mid-afternoon, by this point) I was tired so went to play WoW for a while. Got another level (yawn), did a quest (zzzzzzz), bought my level 28 skills, then hit the AH and lagged to hell and back. Had amazingly little fun, and no clue why. Was basically annoyed by most everything in the game. :/
Logged back on to FFXI in time to help Sylf and Cy get colored chips for their CoP mission. Got lots and lots of skill ups! They got their two chips! Yay! Sylf and Yossy and Cy were fun to hang around with. :)
Entering hour 13 of online playing (zzzzzzzzz), Merlee was going to do a CN Escort run to get Zub an XP scroll (cause his XP party broke up right before he leveled), and so I offered to help. Ha ha ha, basically Beanie, Zub, and I just moved the NPC behind Merlee because she's such an amazing BST she can solo it. I was happy to get my XP scroll tonight instead of tomorrow, but sad cause I was basically 100% useless.
Grand total for the day:
XP earned: ~2,000 (including 1,100 from Escort)
GS levels earned: Nearly 10! (only 90 more to go...)
Levels earned: 1 (WoW), 0 (FFX)
NMs killed: 1!
Reasons to love Yossy: Many, including:

Heh heh heh. Sorry, Yos. ;)
EDIT: The wonderful Niala makes videos of our various LS event. She just finished the one for our Promy-V fight! Link to it on her site (right-click, save as). It's about 8.5 minutes long, 71,342 KB in size. (If you do watch it, ignore all the typos I made while fighting. Mid-fight is not when you want to go back and correct a typo.) Also excuse my, eh, lack of pants. It was a capped 50 fight, thus I couldn't wear the pants I've been wearing since 55. Subligar is the best thing I have >55. c.c
