Fast! (FFXI)

Joke's on me: I was just saying to myself 'Wow, got everything I wanted to do done, never thought I'd get finished and log out on time!' then someone on LS said 'Undead attacking'. Ha ha. *facepalms* But no matter the late night, it was a pretty good day!

But I'm getting ahead of myself! The day started with poor time management: Three hours spent trying to catch three-eyed fish. Caught a grand total of 6 fish, broke 5 rods, and 2 (.1) skillups. >< Worse than that, fishing hard fish for so long killed my arm. Ow ow ow. Stupid me.

I had been thinking about doing the Lu Rod quest a second time (turning the fish in with my mule), but this pretty much cancels that. I sold my Lu's for 4M, and now they're selling for a minimum of 8M (as high as 12M in the history). No way I'm buying one back at that kind of a loss. But really, I'm crazy for thinking about it for another reason: Fishing hurts my arm! It's been aching all week! Stop fishing, you fool!

Since it was a new moon, I did a mess of crafting, then noticed a Besieged building. Scurried to Jeuno to buy my greens for digging while the warp taru was still there, and made it back just in time. (Trolls, level 1, full reward on BRD.) Didn't have time to go far and wide to dig, so went to Meri Mountains. Meh results. 3 gold beastcoins, 1 red rock, and the rest was crap. Pretty much expected that, so not really too disappointed.

Then, amazingly, I still had time left before I had to log out, so I muled all that crap off. Was about to log out, when the second Besieged started. (Undead, level 1, full reward on BRD.)

Note to self: 2,130 XP on BRD total so far. Halfway to caught up with static!
