Bad day with good things (FFXI)

Strange how you can have an overall bad day, but with some good things happening in it. Or rather, that the whole day can feel like crap, even though good stuff happened, too.

The good:
- Amazing digging. Got 4 gold beastcoins (and 2 yellow rocks, same level to dig as the GBCs). Got 1 adaman ore (and a black chocbo feather, same level).
- Harvested some off-schedule pots. Out of 5 pots, 3 grew worms. Amazing! 2 parasite and 1 cupid. (Only one worm per pot, but still! Nice!)
- Our static XPing this morning was amazing. Even though we had such a short time it was almost silly to go out (under 3 hours, maybe 2 and 45 minutes?), we got a ton of XP. Even though we had hardly had a buffer, we all not only leveled, but got 3K buffer as well. Ding BRD 56! It was really nice that we only had to stop and rest for MP once (maybe twice?) even with the WHM keeping reraise up. Ballad II ftw. Such horrible, horrible looking AF, I won't wear that outside of my MH.

The bad:
- Only one goldsmithing level, for lack of materials. I wasn't about to buy crystals I can easily farm (lightning, in this case), so even though I didn't feel like farming, went to do it. 13 eles killed, and every single one of them dropped only 1 cluster. With TH. >< Finally Nai showed up (NIN/WAR) and suddenly the drops got better. Stupid game.
- Had the time and now the materials to craft, but the moon was horrible. Couldn't do anything without failing, yet every mule is jam-packed full. 39 stacks of crystals and no where to put them!
- Related to that: Only one mythril ring sold overnight. And I have the AH full of them on three mules, one mule at 30/30 of them in a bazaar, and more of them jamming everything up. I dread thinking about desynthing them, but I might have to consider that. (They've sold in the past! Why stop now?)
- The biggest, most pissing-me-off thing was missing a Besieged. I check /bmap on a very regular basis, it's the first thing I do when I log on, last thing I do before logging off, and I try to do it every half-hour or so, but I cannot watch it every second! I checked, saw Trolls were attacking, warped back, cast reraise... and they retreated! GRRRRR. I wanted to kill something. Seriously.

For the vast majority of the day, I had a headache so bad I couldn't hardly focus my eyes. (It woke me up way too early this morning, too.) That didn't make the day any more fun.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
