The logic of this might get painful, so brace yourself.

The anti-same sex marriage folks in California say that same sex marriage should be banned because it hurts traditional marriage (somehow hurts it, they never were able to define how and thus lost).

The judge who heard the case is gay. After the case ended, it came out that he was in a ten year relationship. These anti folks argued that he might benefit from allowing gay marriages, that only a straight judge should decide on the case.

So now here's the thing. The anti folks are arguing that somehow same sex marriage hurts traditional marriage. So, if same sex marriage is banned then heterosexual people would benefit... thus by their logic there should not be a heterosexual judge, since deciding on the case would benefit his own side of this.

Judge rejects bid to set aside Proposition 8 ruling.

We don't use only black or white judges in racial cases. We don't use only male or female judges in sexual harassment cases. In those cases, we trust that judges will put aside their personal interest and decide things fairly. Why does that logic elude the anti-same sex marriage group?

I didn't do my research before moving Crowfeathers to Alliance. Having read about how well cross-faction pets and recipes sold, I jumped in without actually checking. (Or at least, not checking them all.) I just bought a bunch of them, stuffed Crowfeathers full, and sent him over to blue.

Unfortunately what I had found for Argent tournament pets holds true for other pets and recipes: They sell for basically the same thing on either side. So for the profit I'm now making, I could have just resold them on Horde side and had Crow carry things which were more useful.

I'm making 3-10 gold profit per pet/recipe right now, selling a couple per day. That usually wouldn't be enough profit to keep me in a market, but I have all that stock now...

In other news, WoW's usually outstanding GMs really bit the big one today. I spoke to five GMs in one day -- four of them were clueless and the only one who had the answer "typed like this!!! teehee!! ^_^ !! ". When Crowfeathers faction changed, he lost all of his Outlands and Northrend FPs. Blizz's own FAQ said he should have been given a new set of them, but nope. So I opened a ticket.

GM #1: All the FPs you're missing were ones that were Horde-only or phased!
Me: ...Right. Like the one in the middle of Sholazar Basin?

GM #2: Working as intended!
Me: Hello, I quoted the FAQ in my ticket!

GM #3: You can find more information about faction change by visiting our forums!
Me: ...

GM #4: Hi, have some information 100% unrelated to your issue!
Me: *froths at mouth*

GM #5: Known issue! No information on when it might be fixed! We're looking into it! Go away!

Mumble, mutter. WoW GMs are usually so good.

I suppose I'm grumpier than usual about this because I'm in one of my sleepless phases. It's been four or five nights now of one to two broken hours of sleep per night. Add that on top of the fact that I'm exercising every single day and have been sick a couple days... I think I may fall over dead. zzz I really, really hope this sleepless period will be a short one. I was doing so well for a long time! Feels like forever since my last one.
