This is becoming a habit, isn't it? Well, here we go again! Tonight is an (almost) all-relationship night for bad/funny/scary summaries.

----------------

Fred and George set Percy up on a date...with guess who. *Percy/Oliver slash!*
Um... uh... could it be with... Oliver?

Crazy bow-chicka-bow-bow making out ensues.

Cho/Giant Squid

A summer spent with the Weasley's and Hermione at the Order's new headquarters proves very interesting, as Harry meets Fred's new girlfriend, an American girl Lupin pulled out of the sea

Harry Potter/Hanson crossover - a Muggle is brought into the magical world to help in the battle against Lord Voldemort.

And a couple bonus non-relationship ones:

A woman is released from a juvenile prison after serving a four year sentence. She arrives at Hogwarts to complete the final year of her education.

YOU ARE NOW READING THE SUMMARY OF A PARODY STORY WHICH IS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME EVER.

If I ever, ever write ANYTHING - original, fanfic, freaking product blurb - with a summary even remotely like even one of those, take a cheese grater to my eyes, all right? It would barely begin to make up for the pain I would have inflicted upon the world.

Then, Cho/Giant Squid could be amusing. Y'know, sometimes in the heat of passion, squid sometimes accidentally bite the tentacles from their partners...

It's a promise! :)

I really added that one for [livejournal.com profile] isiscolo. I thought she might get a kick out of it.

(I love puns!) Fluffy bit of humor that is only slightly Cho-bashing, and only a bit Marietta-bashing. Though it does cast a quite positive light on the Giant Squid. Songfic of The Hooters “And We Danced”. If you take this seriously, you have missed the point. Humor. Cho/ Giant Squid! Viva La Revolution!

Hmm. Not very good, but not really bad. Silly. Completely OOC for Cho, possibly not for the Giant Squid. I mean, don't you think a Ravenclaw would know that a squid's a cephalopod?

*snicker* I didn't read it, but I'd think maybe so, yeah.

[livejournal.com profile] isiscolo's summary is pretty dead-on, though I'd like to think that GS is more complex a character than that. The image of underwater dancing, though sadly underdeveloped, was nonetheless full of poignant potential. Then the author had to go and force a Hooters song parallel onto it :P.

HP/Hanson???!!! [rubs eyes and reads sentence again]. The absolute twaddle that people will dedicate their time to writing never ceases to astound and amuse.

Thanks for the laugh!

Would you believe that HP/boy band people has its own little following? I had the misfortune of stumbling across some art of Ron and some boy band guy hugging. I wanted to gag.

Welcome!

Most crossovers just make me boggle. I mean, points for creativity in even coming up with the crazyass idea, but the execution is almost always lacking.

I can think of a few exceptions, of course!

Oh! What would be really frightening? HP/Prince Harry (of Wales) slash. I can see it now: the young prince is so Weasley-looking (see this (http://www.princeofwales.gov.uk/about/biography/harry.html)) that Potter thinks he might make a decent substitute for Ron (who's terribly het, you see). Much confusion ensues over the name Harry with the imaginary author repeatedly using the phrase "the scarred 4-eyed boy-who-lived" to denote Harry Potter and "the younger son of Diana, Princess of Wales, R.I.P." to denote Prince Harry. Finally, to end the chaos Prince Harry relents and allows all and sundry to address him by his given name "Henry Charles Albert David."

Ok, quitting now. I've made myself woozy.

I dunno. In the right hands, HP/Prince William angst-romance might make interesting reading. All the drama -- life and isolation in the public eye, dead canonized (no pun intended) mothers, the pressures of responsibility, etc. Would also be an interesting meeting-of-the-worlds: the unofficial prince of wizarding Britain meets the Muggleside king-to-be. But I cannot emphasize in the right hands enough.

If they looked like each other ("What? Snape invented a six-month Polyjuice? Let's go test it!"), you could even do The Prince and the Wizard AU-switch fic :P.
