thistlechaserI'm quite proud of my mother. I got her a computer a while back, and she's been getting better at online stuff. She lives alone, and this is her first time even *touching* a computer, so this is quite an impressive thing.
I'm worried she's getting too good.
She learned how to IM, so I installed that AIM thing so we could talk on it. She finally figured out how to send links across it.
Tonight she sent me a link to The Thong Song. Unfortunately, this isn't the only or the most disturbing thing she's ever sent me. She's not a far step from sending me links to ... "adult" things. While I'll all for porn in general, I do not not not not not want to get it from my mother. Gah. (I sort of think she's sharing it with me so that I'll be impressed that she can find this or that... But, you know... Gah.)
On (thankfully) other topics, I've had a paid LJ for almost a year now, and I've never made a poll, so it's about time I do!
