US Dollar Coins

As part of my change from lunch, I was given a golden coin. Somewhat larger than a quarter, I actually thought it was some kind of a game token at first. It was heavy though, didn't feel cheap, so I kept it instead of asking for a "real" dollar. Coming back to the office, I googled. Apparently there's been a program getting these out for a while now, and will continue until 2014!

So, if you get one, don't be surprised. Mine looks like this one, but the picture doesn't do it justice -- it looks like a real golden coin. Pretty darned cool! I'm going to hold onto it instead of spending it.
