Not only that, but the park must have AMAZING Wi-Fi or they assume everyone there has unlimited data to download such an app...which also means they can track where YOU are in the park if they use location to mark you car...sneaky!
I had that happen to me a few weeks ago when I went to Bethesda and when I finally found a parking spot, they MADE you download an app to pay for parking. :\ And then charged me $20 in advance!!!! UGH, I was not happy. Luckily, it was for a library training and they gave me all the money back.
