I really need to play the older Final Fantasy games... Who is this person and why is he not in my bed yet?

---

I watched FMA 27 at lunch today. (I think 27 is the right ep number? Whichever was released yesterday.)

Killing a cat, that's just low! *sniff* And while I'm at lunch, too. I had to go back to work with tears in my eyes. Killing cats isn't fair, no one should be permitted to do that! Bad writers, bad. No cookies for you.

While the ep wasn't totally serious, at least it was much better than last week. Loved the last minutes of it, with the teacher first beating the boys (!!!) then hugging them. I just sat there with my jaw dropped, staring at the screen as they gave us the sounds of an adult beating two children. Man. That'd so never play here, but it worked.

Needs more Mustang, though if I can't have him, I wouldn't kick the teacher out of bed for eating crackers. Loved her hair, loved her attitude, loved her tattoo.

---

I ended up forgetting to eat breakfast (I had fruit, but I forgot that I hadn't eaten it yet and was surprised to see it still next to me when it was time to go to lunch). Oddly, I wasn't hungry for lunch, but I ate some peanut butter on toast because I hadn't eaten all day. Semi-hungry now, so I need to ponder dinner... Eating is such a pain. Seriously.

By the way, did you know that when you stop eating something, you apparently get more sensitive to that thing? Fruit now tastes sooooo sweet. Apples are like candy! Fruit used to be so blah and boring to me, but now it's like candy/a treat. Odd.

Edit: Tell me this isn't a Fruits Basket cake! Eeee!

Heheh.

Yes, you do in fact need to play FFVII. It was the first PSX FF. And the first one I played! Zack is... um, he actually has a pretty small part. But there is more than enough hotass to go around, IMHO. I'm surprised you came across Zack and not the massive amounts of (often crap, but still!) Sephiroth fanart out there.

I've been using the 'random LJ image finder' thingie (http://www.hokahoka.net/lj/) and have been coming up with the most interesting stuff like that! Once I get over playing XI so much, I'll have to seek out VII. Mmmmm.

Ah, cool. The LJ image sampler I was shown went down due to massive overload.

Yeah, but thankfully a couple people have mirrored it elsewhere. Hours of entertainment (and unknown animals (http://www.lisabibko.com/n.jpg))!

Cute! But what the hell is it? I'm guessing mink, as it's a little too stocky to be most mustelids, and the face is wrong for some of the larger ones...

That was Hyper's guess, too. I've never seen a mink, but I would buy that that's what one looks like.

Hmm, to reply without spoiling. Yes, I like her also, but in regards to the violence...One is a soul attached to a suit of armor, and the other is a State Alchemist. While children might be an appropriate term in some cases, it's certainly not where beatings are concerned. They've taken far worse, without the hugs. :)

Hmm, I understand your point, but I have to disagree with you. They've seen worse and done worse, but they are still kids. Just because they've taken worse before doesn't make it okay now. It's not like Ed flaunted it and said 'Ha ha! Look what I did!', he knew what he did was wrong. I understand why the teacher did it, but still disagree with it. (Heck, I'd disagree with it being done to an adult, too. Violence became an answer when?)

I was a little 'uh' when it happened, since I'm of the opinion they've suffered enough, but it's understandable. 'I've betrayed everything you stand for and tried to instill in me, and done something unspeakably abominable' is a little more severe than 'I broke a vase.' But maybe I'm a bit more lenient after Winry's inexplicable belligerence last episode.

Yes and yes. I agree that they've suffered enough for it (and are still suffering because of it), and that it was understandable. Not really acceptable, but understandable.

Winry's inexplicable belligerence last episode.

Hush! I'm trying to forget that that ep exists.

I'd be very surprised if you liked FFVII.

The graphics are very poor by today's standards. Strange polygonal people except during some of the FMVs. What might be an even bigger problems for you is the poor, crack-headed, plot-hole filled story, much of which doesn't make sense unless you're a 17-year-old boy who has sat around for hours trying to decipher the "hidden" meanings in the script.

Naturally, though, you can take what I say with a grain of salt, as the only game I hate worse than FFX is FFVIII. I've noticed that people who tend to like VII and VIII tend to like X, and vice versa, whereas old-school gamers like me and the geek prefer the older games.

Hmmmm. Well, it'll take me a long while to finish with XI, so I'll probably forget it by then! Hee. But if I do try it, I'll be sure to post so you can either groan or say you told me so. :)

And by the way, it's: Mothers I'd Like to Fuck.

(Hyper told.)

Err...not to be particular, but that's an awfully sweeping generalization.

To be honest, I liked FFVII, didn't particularly enjoy VIII, (it was very unsatisfying and had *way* too many complicated side quests/play mechanics/story elements. Who the hell wants all those GFs? And why should it be so important to have them if you don't need them in the end?) sort of enjoyed IX, and wouldn't touch X with a ten foot pole.

Let it also be said that I'm old enough to have my own children and am undeniably female. ^_^

ZACK! Zackzackzack! Ohdeargod, I love that boy. :3 Kay, he gets like.. all of 5 minutes screentime in the entirety of FF7 (and half of it is later implied to have never happened and all sorts of messed up junk), but he so rocks. :D *snickers* ZackxSephiroth was also my second yaoi pairing ever, and the only one at that point in my life that was remotely concievable ICly. Zack will always be one of my favorite FF7 characters~.
