Killing ants?
Dec. 15th, 2002 08:12 pmAnyone know a good way to kill ants? Preferably a way that will make them suffer? (Just joking on that second part...) They're coming in the heating vent in the /ceiling/ in my bathroom. I talked to the super for our apartment building, but she said if they're not outside all I can do is buy spray and spray them. (When they were coming in from the outside she had some super-strong poison stuff that killed them right off.)
They haven't made it to my kitchen yet, but it's not a long walk to it... and my cat's food is between them and the kitchen.

Then again, we didn't have enough that I'm sure that it was the traps that did it. On the other hand, I swear the traps my mom used mutated her ants. After she started using them, the ants went from the normal little black ones to unbelievably huge ones. I think I killed one once that was a good quarter of an inch long. I've never seen such big ants.
At any rate, the traps might be a good thing to try with your cat around rather than the spray. Unless she eats peanut butter, of course.

Hate ants. Hates zem.
