Plan A: (If Des is here.) Do one new assault (Troll Fugitives), repeat until we win. Once done, go off and do the mission for Nil. By hook or by crook, we're going to get caught up on ToAU misssions before the update! Unless we don't~

Plan B: (If Des remains MIA.) Des is leading edge of our group, so we'll do repeat Assaults. No mission, as we really want 6 for it.

(EDIT: By request, removing Requiem, doubling up on Preemptive.)
1) Preemptive Strike (Mamool Ja Training Grounds, kill all mamool -- Draque as /RNG, please.)
2) Preemptive Strike (Mamool Ja Training Grounds, kill all mamool -- Draque as /RNG, please.)
3) Orichalcum Survey (Leujaoam, find the ore -- bring invisible and your hatred of stairs.)
4) Lamia No.13 (Ilrusi, help the NPCs kill the lamia -- Draque as SMN to keep charm on Carby, please. Nil and I as BRD.)

Link to wiki Assault page, for more info on any of these.

If Draque wants to go to Orichalcum Survey as SMN, we can switch two and three.

Boy, don't I feel bossy! If anyone has any issues with this, let me know.

Note: If we do get Nil caught up, I'd like to try to do the last mission on a weekend so that we don't have to miss assaults to do it.

On an unrelated note: We're really backlogged on WSNMs, too. We have katana, sword, and staff(?) to do. One more skill level (and finishing of sword) and I can get the dagger of trials, too. If we can get any of these done without Des, let's try? With Des is better of course! But if we can without him, that'd leave more time to mission.

Dani, which one was yours? Staff or club? (Edit: Dani says club!) Is it doable with less than a full party? I'm pretty sure Nai's is, since she was trying to solo it. I'm pretty sure mine isn't, since we need a lot of people to get through the gates?

Want to try for, say, Thursday to do WSNMs?

Mine is club. I can't get staff until a)I get a lot of skilling in. ._.; and b)level 75, since that's when WHM gets Retribution.

As to if the WSNM for Club can be done without a full party, I believe it can. It's against a magic pot -- the only thing is clearing the area beforehand so we don't get magic aggro.

Assault looks good, as does mission foo. :3

Okay, if Nai can make it on Thursday (since we need her to tank), let's plan on getting yours and hers done?

Ead has Savage Blade, right? How many folks do we need to deal with all those locks and such in QSC?

And hey, once sword is done and I have my dagger o'trials, we can kill two birds with one stone and skill staff/clear dagger!

That works. o.ob

Ead does have Savage Blade, but for the life of me, I couldn't remember how many people we took. It was probably overkill. The NM for Savage Blade is a scorpion, so you might need to come as DRK to stun Death Scissors. It seems to go into spamming TP moves toward the end, but healing shouldn't be a problem.

And yar! I'm up for skilling staff to get caught up. So, so behind. ; ;

If you need help on Thursday, let me know. I'll be shifting stuff around for CoP 6-4, but I can take time out to do some WSNMs. (68 is high enough to help, yes? I've done a couple before, but in alliances.)

Thanks! And I'd think it would be! <3

Can we please not do Requiem? It's really hard to do with all 6 of us and two tanks, it's gonna be hell to do with 5 and one tank. >< Especially with the shadowstripping WS moves the bones use and the -aga spells the ghosts use. ; ; Can we do the mamool one twice? Or more~ *luffs beating the hell outta those stupid lizards*

As for WSes... poke me. Thursday should be fine.

Skipping Requiem is fine! The problem with Preemptive Strike is that it's tied for the area we need the least in. How about you pick anything from Lebros Cavern, Periqia, or Ilrusi Atoll instead? Would that work for you?

For Periqia assaults, the SP one will be great for farming points. I'd go so far as to recommend using the extra 3 tags per week on it (or until an easier one shows up) as it can be easily trio'd.

Also, Guppy tried to explain a trick to me about doing Golden Salvage without SMN or BST...Apparently there was a trick to targeting the chests, that the real chest behaved differently than the mimics when targeted. Haven't tried it yet.

Last I heard, the Golden Salvage "hack" was fixed. When was the last time he successfully did it?

For Periqia assaults, the SP one will be great for farming points.

Saving Private Ryaaf? Only you went ahead and did that, we've not done it as a group yet. Assuming it works for our group, that'd be an option.

And: Only two people need something from the mamool one, you and Des. So when we do hit that area, we should have Des for it. :/

I really doubt he'd mind us going without him. We just need something that the five of us can do comfortably, so we don't lose our stride. :3

Okay, I'll switch it out for the mamool one, but once we're a full group again we'll probably double up on Requiem. (I don't like it either, but we need a hell of a lot of points there, and almost everyone needs points there, and it's the most reasonable one for the area.)

By the way, what do you guys think about Orichalcum Survey, since we're lacking one tank?

Dani + Nai
Thistle (BRD/WHM), Nil, Draque (SMN? SAM?)

The SAM(s) would end up tanking in my party, but the worms should be killed fast? Or if Draque is SMN, both he and I can keep Nil on his feet?

Or skip it and do Walls instead?

From: [identity profile] philia.livejournal.com
Ori Survey, with that lineup, works fine. Or walls. Either's good. :3 The worms don't honestly hit that hard to be a problem, either way.

I figured/hoped they wouldn't hit that hard, and with 5 instead of 6 they should be slightly easier.

Let's stick with Ori then.
